I'll start off by saying that hopefully all the settings have saved properly, last week I get everyone the ability to add s to the group collection but I noticed that was turned off earlier. ¬___¬

So, if there's anything that's not working that's been stated otherwise in then journal then please note us.



Flashers Gallery BETA mode

You need to know something first before I give you the good news.

What you need to know is that none of this is 100% permanent, things will change further down the line but probably nothing huge. We just want to get a perfect system.

A system that gives you freedom to submit but keeps the gallery to a reasonable standard of relevance. A system of good use.
Also, you will never lose any of your work should massive gallery structure changes ever take place.

Right then, I'm pleased to say that the Flashers group gallery is now OPEN!

As of today all deviants can now submit their Flash deviations to the gallery, bask in the glory of the Flashers name and be proud to call yourself a Flasher.

Reasoning
As you can see the main gallery folders requires a small amount of approval before your deviation is added to the gallery. The reason for this is that *for now* is allows us to see if deviations will be going into the right folders.

We can keep the standard of artistry to a certain degree too BUT DO NOT FEAR, as I said before if this system proves to be unpopular and not work then we'll tweak it slightly but it would be nice to just test the water and see how it goes first.
Afterall you don't want the ops wasting time moderating the gallery when they could be featuring work do you?

Feedback Gallery FTW
But how can anyone improve if no one can see their work to comment upon it? This is where the Feedback gallery comes into it. This gallery requires to approval at all. We ckind of see this gallery being used a general purpose WIP gallery in the future once most people are submitting to the main folders.

Selections
While we test this structure out for now more than a couple of weeks to a month we'll be picking out deviations from the Feedback gallery and moving them over to the main gallery folders. This way you can see what can go in there to put it crudely.

Improvement; the pathway to success
If you decide to submit straight to the main gallery folders but don't get aproval then please don't be disheartened, you can still submit to the Feedback gallery. Then once you get some feedback from the rest of the group you can always improve your work, note us, and we'll look to move it to the main folders.

This is actually a very beneficial way because not only will you recieve constructive feedback allowing you to improve but other people will be able to read the feedback in the future. Something that wouldn't happen if you deleted the deviation and resubmitted to the other galley folders.



Featured Gallery

This gallery is a very special gallery indeed because this is where all the truly awesome Flash deviations will be kept. These deviations will be hand picked from the Flashers Gallery by our Moderators and Flashers probably every fortnight (2 weeks).
These will be selected by a voting system taking place in the batcave of the Flashers Mansion. _{(old school reference)}

This gallery will be mirrored by the Featured Favourites Collection so when your work is featured it will appear in the group favourites also.
